Quotes for service work and repairs that convert to work orders once approved.
Create Service Quote
- 1Customer & Site: pick the customer, service site and order contact.
- 2Quote Details: set the issue and expiry dates and who it was sold by, and link a sales order if needed.
- 3Parts & Services: click + Add Service to price one of your service types, and add parts.
- 4Customer Prep Instructions (optional) and Notes for the customer.
- 5Save the quote.
Send Service Quote
From the quote’s actions menu, choose Send Email, Send SMS or Print. Texting needs the texting add-on and a phone number on file for the customer.
Convert Service Quote to Work Order
When the customer accepts, choose Convert to Work Order from the actions menu.
Quote Return Trip Parts
When a technician finalizes a work order that needs parts for a return trip, those parts are managed on a service quote linked to the original visit (shown as Return trip for).
