Add Line Items
Line items work the same way on quotes, sales orders, invoices and work orders.
- 1Click Add line item and search by SKU or name to pick a catalog item.
- 2Click Add labor for installation labor, priced from a service type, or Add travel for a trip charge.
- 3Use the more (⋯) menu to add a Package, a Custom Product that isn’t in your catalog, or a Fee line.
- 4Set the quantity and unit price on each line.
Stock indicators on each line show whether the item is in stock, low, reserved or backordered.
If a part has a newer part number, or you still have stock of an older one, the line tells you and offers to switch. See Superseded Part Warnings in the Catalog guide.
